Peugeot 206 Cc Roof Faults

It s probably optimistic of me to ask but is there anything i can try diy wise before i take it to the peugeot dealer.

Having not used my peugeot 206 cc se 2l 2002 for 6 months the retractable roof is no longer working. 05 206 cc s16 electric roof stopped today whilst exiting the boot. Can anyone help with this problem thanks. On pulling the lever there is a beep and nothing happens.
