Peugeot 206 Electric Roof Not Working

The ussual fault is the rotary switch in the boot on the end of the roof mechanism.

But then once the car was driven the code would be logged again and the roof stopped working. Neither the window nor roof switches work nor do i get the usual warning tones when i press them. It is really easy to replace but a pain to set up not really the job for an amature to do. Cheaper than the manufacturer.
